Capture / Resemble captures the individual characteristics and facial expressions of the visitor and transforms them into abstract movements. The sculpture simulates behaviors inspired by AI agents, processing and adapting to each unique interaction to mimic the dynamic learning and response loops inherent in self-aware machine behavior.
Each capture is stored, put in relation with previous data and reinterpreted during specific phases. Through this process, the sculpture performs a form of latent space exploration, finding the motion middle ground between different people to evolve an abstract movement vocabulary aimed at a universal human-machine choreography.
Like a machine dreaming or consolidating data, the sculpture enters specific cycles where it stops merely reacting and begins synthesizing and re-evaluating its stored archive. At the back, an interface screen displays detailed capture data alongside visualizations that represent the current phase of the sculpture's evolving resemble process.
